Michael Provenzano is CEO and co-founder of Vistar Media, the first and only universal marketplace for out-of-home (OOH) media.
Prior to Vistar Media, Michael co-founded Invite Media, the first universal demand-side platform for online display advertising, which was purchased by Google in 2010.
Being an early pioneer of programmatic with proven success in the digital sphere, Michael knew he could bring the power of data science and automation to the OOH industry. Thanks to his relentless focus on using developing technology that delivers true value to advertisers and media owners, Vistar Media has grown into the largest programmatic OOH company in the world, with offices across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.
In addition to leading Vistar Media, Michael is an investor in BrandVerge, the first two-sided marketplace for premium advertisers. Previously, he was also an investor in Dextro, a computer vision company building an API that analyzes and draws insights from the objects appearing in photos, videos or streams, and served as an advisor to AdTheorent, an industry-leading machine learning platform, for several years.
Michael sits on the DPAA Board of Directors and was named to 2018’s Digital Global Digital Out-of-Home Council Leadership by the Digital Signage Federation.
He has a BSE in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
